Fertilization Program:

In conjunction with leading local and nationally recognized horticulturist, Corinth Lawn Company has developed a fertilization and weed control program that will make and keep your lawn healthy, thick, and essentially weed free.

Fertilization – We only use top quality, timed-released, high-nitrogen, fertilizer. The soils in Frisco are primarily high-alkaline clay.  Nitrogen is the element most often lacking in our soil. Each year, early Spring to early Fall (the active growing season), it is recommended that your lawn be fertilized once every four to eight weeks.

Pre-Emergent Weed Control – Pre-emergent weed control can be either a spray application or granular application. Pre-emergent herbicides kill or prevent many different types of nuisance weeds and grasses from germinating from their seed form. One of the primary reasons for pre-emergent application is for the prevention and control of Crabgrass, Goosegrass, White Clover, and other grassy weeds and broadleaf weeds.

Post-Emergent Weed Control – Post-emergent herbicides are applied via spray, and only after proper identification of the weeds in your lawn. Our licensed technician will review your lawn to determine what type of broadleaf weeds and grassy weeds are present, and apply a post-emergent herbicide for the control of those weeds.
